Our Philosophy
In Hawaiian culture, you do not call yourself your pet’s ‘owner.’ You are referred to as their ‘Kahu.’ This word has a deep meaning and is defined as the sacred role of a guardian, protector, steward or honoured attendant. Essentially, a Kahu is someone entrusted with the safe keeping of something precious and cherished. What a Kahu protects is not their property, but a part of their soul. We become better when we truly love an animal. We embrace the connection of all life when we embody what it means to be a Kahu.

Process
-
We will reach out to your veterinarian and invite them to register with us (cost-free) to access our vet education platform for prescribing CBD. We are here to assist your vet with any questions they may have.
-
At your appointment, your vet will assess your pet and determine the suitability of CBD for them. If your vet considers CBD to be appropriate for your pet then they can discuss treatment goals, dosing, and other practical considerations.
-
The pharmacist will formulate your pet’s CBD oil as per your vet’s prescription. The finished product will be delivered to your doorstep.
-
You may be asked to complete a CBD Dosing Diary, a journal where you record your pet’s symptoms each day. This helps your vet monitor changes and assess how your pet is responding to the treatment. You will have follow-up appointments with your vet to review progress, adjust doses if needed, and ensure the best possible outcomes for your pet’s health.scription
